Following the successful launch of their brand, our clients identified that they required support in various areas of the business.
When introduced, it was clear that whilst the business model was extremely effective key operating procedures within the business were absent and in order to develop and grow, attention to these areas was required. Our ‘first 90’ package was a great place to start and allowed us to review all aspects of the business and identify which needed the most attention. In the case of our client, we needed to focus on Health and Safety/Food Safety and Employee management.
The food management processes within the kitchen were not satisfactory so we implemented a new HACCAP system , a systematic preventative approach to food safety. All staff were engaged and provided with training opportunities. Employee management issues centred on retention. As a result of not having the right policies and structure in place the business was not able to maintain a consistent team and this in turn meant service as well and continued good procedural practice suffered. Working with the directors we were able to introduce a new approach to staff management, development and investment which in turn improved retention and staff morale.
